Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has alarmed over the state of insecurity in the
country.
Speaking after his return from after
a leadership course in United states, Bobi wine is grieved on how Ugandans are
just dieng like chicken. “I returned to the country to news of another young
life lost in very disturbing circumstances. Susan Magara had dreams, ambitions
and aspirations but all snuffed out in an instant by some cruel and heartless
individuals” he says.
He further went on to say, "So
many young lives are lost each day and those in positions of authority cannot
explain. Often times, they arrest innocent people torture them only to be
cleared of any wrong doing".
“Kidnappings have become very
normal. Sadly, it’s even hard for citizens to know who is who. As we have seen
these past days security forces kidnap people and throw them on vehicles
without number plates,” Bobi Wine concluded.
Our reporters have learnt that the
former ghetto president attributes the killings and kidnappings to NRM
government which has been repeating the same promises about stopping killings
for years yet the situation continues worsening.
