The story by Natasha partly borrows from President Museveni’s book Sowing The Mustard Seed and the screenplay was penned by Sharpe Sewali (formerly of the gospel singing group First Love) and MF Semujju. Sewali co-directs the movie with Natasha.
The movie recounts Museveni and his soldiers’ five year struggle to free Uganda of tyranny. It tells the story of 43 men with 27 guns who took on the Milton Obote regime in 1981 and captured power five years later.
The first family shares acting and technical credits on the movie with local Ugandan talent. Actors like Michael Wawuyo Jr, Maureen Jolly and Hussein Marijan of the Deception fame share screen time with the ruling family.
The shooting happened from 9th to 11 march during the weekend and Mustaque Abdallah, a veteran videographer who honed his skill by shooting music videos more than 15 years ago was the Director of Photography.

Vega music set to kick off annual concerts| Street Magazine

Events schedule posta Vega music events A music label suited in Ibanda is yet back again with another Biggest event in Ibanda and places around. The annual music crowned event dubbed EKINTABULI FUGUDUBANDUKUKULUBA   has set dates for this years happenings. According to Dj western Vega music CEO and events boss, the concerts will kick off on 14th of May in Green Orchard gardens in Ibanda with lots of performances from westen Ugandas top artists and, a few Ibanda artists. Other happenings include: 15TH Lyantonde mu park 16TH Crane gardens, Mukatongole Mijina Kazo 17TH Kamwenge mu new parliament 18TH Kyegegwa, Mpala ewa Mbahwerize 19TH Mu Silver Inn, Rwimi Bunyangabu Vega music boss told street magazine that because of the need to give back to their fans, the entrance fee was lowered to Ugshs 5000/=. The events will be kickstarting at 10AM with artists suggested by the fans. Popman Kabuga a vega music popstar promises fans the best show ever.
