Ibanda based Ibanda university started 4 years ago and well the thought for fast rising is abit topsyturved. And, not because the absence for factors for her development lacks but, the way people take things and some other unchangeable factors. Mr vybs a student of Mass communication in third year discusses his mind and here are his Five reasons why Ibanda University won’t develop faster

First things first, Cheap things stay cheap. Ibanda University you’ve continued to play cheap life. Like you no wanna spend to yuh students, you want even to utilize students’ guild fee in your other stuffs. This brings you back. At least the guild fee could arrange us a Street party around town, link us to big advertisers like Airtel and Africel and we team up the thing in one way or the other. Let’s be expensive ko… Ohh some students have what they can innovate. You no give them a little help coz you feel like you first want to develop the appearance of it. And, the university are not structures but human structures that make it.

Students… we are all just just. Not even a single student can represent us anywhere and have something scooped…The last moment we thought overconfident of having one, Few of us turned out to vote for  her. She even had no guts to win coz….who knows where she was from. She tried by her name, its only Clare and the mighty Twesigye Emma (former guild) who reached somewhere and we stand by them.

Absence of socialites and real slay queens.  Well it’s not even absence but fear to show up. How actually would people rate a socialite who attends to such a forest built university? Who would take pics of hers slaying on a tent made lecture room. I swear iam one of the few who feel Ibanda University is worth to be my academic mother because I know how to use the on hand resources. Not everyone can actually even in the realm of ignorance….some students still have profiles indicating that they do it from Makerere. Imagine!!! Well, this is the time to use what you have to let people appreciate its goodness or the worth in it.

And, the university location also takes us hell. Some billionaires pass via Ibanda day and night………No one goes with it at mind that we even exist. Most of them even have small eyes that they cannot look at signposts. Therefore the location also takes us to the barren land. You be down there, no one even could recognize that you live. Like a grave, silently we be and actually I had another thought. Cant it be like we have a very big brand post in town to let the world know that it’s the mighty Ibanda based IU campus!! Anyway the location still………….a heck
And, hahaha this is extremely right. Sex in advertising. I met this in a certain course unit “Marketing and advertising”. Sex influences many people say men women, youth, tycoons……….what else even religious leaders are taken. I felt like we should have some cute slay queens who can sacrifice their bodies…….post some nude pics on facebook, insta and whattsap and we let them move countrywide. I would even suggest some gals whose nudes can sell our university hehe. Some big men in administration always say “Makerere is the best university because it is published, it publishes day and night” haha. It can’t miss in the news whether bad or good. For the MUK lecturer who sucked the pants of that gal, if he was a lecturer at Ibanda university………then we would be everywhere in National papers, actually even international papers hehe.
